Registered as a Commercial Passenger Vehicle with Safe Transport Victoria, fully insured, and maintained to the standards set out below.

Driver onboarding

Before any driver provides a service for Roadravel, we verify:

• A current Victorian driver licence (full, not probationary).
• Current CPV driver accreditation with Safe Transport Victoria, confirmed by direct search on the ST Vic Public Register.
• A clear National Police Check obtained within the last 3 months.
• A driving history report consistent with safe driving behaviour.
• A signed Medical Fitness Declaration that meets the Austroads Assessing Fitness to Drive standards for commercial vehicle drivers.
• Completion of our induction on the Safety Management System.
• A signed Driver Code of Conduct.

Driver accreditation is re-verified against the Public Register at least quarterly. Drivers must notify us within 5 business days of any change to their accreditation status.

Vehicle standards

• Every Roadravel vehicle is registered as a Commercial Passenger Vehicle with Safe Transport Victoria.
• Each vehicle is serviced to manufacturer schedule, or every 10,000 km or 6 months, whichever comes first.
• Each vehicle passes an annual CPV inspection performed by a VicRoads Licensed Vehicle Tester or by Redbook.
• A 15-point daily pre-trip check is completed before the first booking of each day.
• Defects affecting safety (brakes, steering, tyres, lights, seatbelts) take the vehicle off the road until repaired by a qualified mechanic.
• Child restraints used are AS/NZS 1754 compliant and removed from service after any crash.

CPV registration is re-verified on the ST Vic Public Register monthly.
